The Heritage Sector

I have extensive experience in the heritage sector. I started my career as a curator and worked for almost a decade as a Creative Development Manager, working with artists and arts organisations to create successful funding applications. Fundraising has always played an important role throughout my career in the arts, and went hand in hand with running projects. Having managed and delivered exhibitions, training, events and public art, I have a deep understanding of the sector, which enables me to articulate its importance in cases for support to funders.

I have the following fundraising experience in the heritage sector:

Arts Council England NPO Funding– Design Museum, London – project lead on the museum’s successful National Portfolio Organisation Application to Arts Council England Funding, for 3-year core funding.

Arts Council England, Grant funding – I have written numerous funding applications to Arts Council England for project funding for artists and arts organisations.

National Lottery Community Funding – I was the lead writer on a successful funding application to the National Lottery Community Fund for a major extension for Cippenham Library, Slough.

National Lottery Heritage Fund – I have written successful funding applications to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for artists, arts organisations and CICs, for projects, exhibitions, commissions and events.

Trusts and Foundations – I am familiar with a wide range of trusts and foundations, and have written successful applications for projects, core funding and capital appeals.

Please do get in touch with me if you have an idea that you would like to discuss or to find out more about the support that I can offer.
